إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ ٦
100:6 | Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ ٧
100:7 | And indeed, he is to that a witness. ¹

Through his speech and his actions.
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ ٨
100:8 | And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
۞أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ ٩
100:9 | But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ ١٠
100:10 | And that within the breasts is obtained, ¹

i.e., when all secrets are made known.
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ ١١
100:11 | Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Aware. ¹

Fully acquainted and familiar with everything about each one of them.
101surah
﷽
Translation : Saheeh International🅘 Surah Info
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ١
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٢
101:2 | What is the Striking Calamity?
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ ٣
101:3 | And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ ٤
101:4 | It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, ¹

The people will be as such after having been expelled from their graves.
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ ٥
101:5 | And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. ¹

i.e., beginning to disintegrate.
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٦
101:6 | Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ ٧
101:7 | He will be in a pleasant life.
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ ٨
101:8 | But as for one whose scales are light,
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ ٩

Literally, "mother" (a man's original refuge) , which will envelop him as in an embrace.

i.e., the pit of Hellfire.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ ١٠
101:10 | And what can make you know what that is?
نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ ١١
102surah
﷽
Translation : Saheeh International🅘 Surah Info
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ ١
102:1 | Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ ٢
102:2 | Until you visit the graveyards. ¹

i.e., remain in them temporarily, meaning until the Day of Resurrection.
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ٣
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ٤
102:4 | Then, no! You are going to know.
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ٥
102:5 | No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty... ¹

The conclusion of this verse is estimated to be "...you would not have been distracted from preparing for the Hereafter."
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ ٦
102:6 | You will surely see the Hellfire.
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ ٧
102:7 | Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. ¹

i.e., with actual eyesight.
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٨
102:8 | Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. ¹

i.e., the comforts of worldly life and whether you were grateful to Allāh for His blessings.
