وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَٱسْجُدْ لَهُۥ وَسَبِّحْهُ لَيْلًۭا طَوِيلًا ^٢٦

76:26 | And during the night prostrate to Him and exalt [i.e., praise] Him a long [part of the] night.

إِنَّ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يُحِبُّونَ ٱلْعَاجِلَةَ وَيَذَرُونَ وَرَآءَهُمْ يَوْمًۭا ثَقِيلًۭا ^٢٧

76:27 | Indeed, these [disbelievers] love the immediate and leave behind them ¹ a grave Day.

نَّحْنُ خَلَقْنَـٰهُمْ وَشَدَدْنَآ أَسْرَهُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا شِئْنَا بَدَّلْنَآ أَمْثَـٰلَهُمْ تَبْدِيلًا ^٢٨

76:28 | We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration.

إِنَّ هَـٰذِهِۦ تَذْكِرَةٌۭ ۖ فَمَن شَآءَ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ سَبِيلًۭا ^٢٩

76:29 | Indeed, this is a reminder, so he who wills may take to his Lord a way.

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًۭا ^٣٠

76:30 | And you do not will except that Allāh wills. Indeed, Allāh is ever Knowing and Wise.

يُدْخِلُ مَن يَشَآءُ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ وَٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ أَعَدَّ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًۢا ^٣١

76:31 | He admits whom He wills into His mercy; but the wrongdoers - He has prepared for them a painful punishment.

وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًۭا ^١

77:1 | By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًۭا ^٢

77:2 | And the winds that blow violently

وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا ^٣

77:3 | And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًۭا ^٤

77:4 | And those [angels] who bring criterion ¹

فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ^٥

77:5 | And those [angels] who deliver a message.

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ^٦

77:6 | As justification or warning,

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ^٧

77:7 | Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ^٨

77:8 | So when the stars are obliterated

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ^٩

77:9 | And when the heaven is opened

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ^١٠

77:10 | And when the mountains are blown away

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ^١١

77:11 | And when the messengers' time has come... ¹

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ^١٢

77:12 | For what Day was it postponed? ¹

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ^١٣

77:13 | For the Day of Judgement.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ^١٤

77:14 | And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ^١٥

77:15 | Woe, ¹ that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ^١٦

77:16 | Did We not destroy the former peoples?

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ^١٧

77:17 | Then We will follow them with the later ones.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ^١٨

77:18 | Thus do We deal with the criminals.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ^١٩

77:19 | Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
